Chaos at Junction

An articulated lorry caused rushhour traffic chaos at the junction of Nottingham Road (B600) and High Street (B6016) Somercotes this morning. The vehicle owned by Taylors's Transport Ltd of Mansfield had broken down on the mini roundabout near QualitySolicitors Chapman & Chubb and outside The Royal Tiger public house sometime after 7am. Tailbacks were soon evident in all directions but the traffic continued to flow. An unaccompanied articulated unit arrived from Taylor's at around 8.30am and the vehicle was soon removed.
